Here it is! The official Snap.as browser extension. Just open it, drag a photo in, and the Markdown will be copied to your clipboard. Paste that in any Markdown-enabled editor (like @write_as) and there's your picture!

Coming very soon: a browser extension! Will make uploading photos and adding them to your @write_as posts much quicker.
You'll now see a preview of your profile / album / photo when sharing a Snap.as link on Mastodon! 🙌
Tiny recent fix: now albums link back to your profile in the header, instead of the Snap.as landing page (e.g. https://snap.as/matt/rules)
Now you can change your album titles and add a Markdown-enabled description — and the same for your profile.
Just like this! https://snap.as/matt/holden

Now albums come with RSS! 📖
Just add /feed to the end of your album URL (e.g. https://snap.as/matt/doors/feed), or enter the plain album URL into an RSS reader and it should figure it out.
Now you can share a nice short link to individual, anonymous photos by going to snap.as/a/{photo-ID}, like this: https://snap.as/a/MLIug2d
#ProTip for navigating your Snap.as photos — use the keyboard!
Left / right arrow keys: previous / next photo
Escape key: leave a photo, back to gallery
One minor change and a new feature tonight:
- Navigation bar now sticks around when you're logged in and navigating profiles and albums
- Users now have an RSS feed of their recent public photos! Right now, "public" means any photos added to an album; in the future, per-album settings will let you choose exactly shows up in the feed.
To access your feed, just add /recent.xml to your URL, e.g. https://snap.as/matt/recent.xml

Snap.as photo albums are live!
Just open the uploader and click the "Create photo album..." button to learn more, including what's coming next. If you'd like to unlock photo albums, it's just $10 -- a one-time purchase that will include all updates to this early feature.
I'm excited to launch this to everyone, and if you try it out I'd love to hear what you think so far!
For example, some requests were taking several seconds for some reason, according to our stats here: https://status.snap.as/780014127
Now response time is under 500 milliseconds. As a bonus, cached photos will stay online when the main application has some downtime for this upcoming data migration.
Speeding things up a bit tonight with some caching on our photos server.
