Are you hoping to share those full-resolution images, or just put your work online?

We just fixed a small issue with logging in, where you might've seen a "500" error on your first try. It's all smooth sailing now ⛵ 📸

If you were having trouble uploading large images before, please try again! We just fixed an issue where large photos were getting blocked.

@marcelcosta Hi, we're working toward that! Right now Snap.as is a hosted service, but we plan to build our open source version on top of #WriteFreely.

Plenty development to do before that happens, though! This is just another step in that direction.

You'll notice just a few minor differences between the old and new Snap.as right now. But we have a full roadmap we're building out now, and we can't wait to share those updates in the very near future!

If you've been with us for a while, you'll want to migrate your photos and data to the new system. Just log in and click the "Update" button to do that!

This means a much more seamless process for everyone, where your photos and https://Snap.as pages stay online, and you can choose to update your account only when you're ready.

We're finally leaving the "alpha" development stage! As part of this, we'll need to move everyone to our new infrastructure.

Previously, we mentioned this could involve some downtime. Instead, your photos and galleries will become read-only this coming Monday (Oct. 26), and then you'll simply log in and start the migration yourself.
