Another thought today: if we support ActivityPub mentions in WF posts, you could add your Mastodon / Pleroma / etc. handle to your posts, and any subsequent fediverse replies would mention and notify you. Could be a good stopgap until @remark_as is out.
Posts would remain "don't @ me" by default, but if you wanted comments on a post, you'd just mention yourself. 🤔
Precisely I was thinking that anyone can follow the federated account @...firstname.lastname@example.org but, if somebody comment on a publication, for example from Mastodon, I can not answer from @...whatever....
So as an alternative I had thought about adding a Mastodon account at the end of each article indicating "you can make comments by writing to this account".
Your solution simplifies it until @remark_as is launched
