Wondering if I could host my own write freely blog on a VM on my computer. Would that even be feasible? Would it be against the terms of my ISP? How would I even check?
And if I did it, could I create a writing community?

@AlexAloi Nope, that's perfectly fine.
"Commercial" to us would generally mean if the site is being used by a company, or where the *primary* purpose of it is to make a profit / sell something.
