Otherwise the WriteFreely.host launch was a success yesterday! Got the infrastructure squared away and the first few instances set up.

That process is *mostly* automated right now, but WF needs a few changes to make that process easier -- including automated user creation (phabricator.write.as/T544).Working on that tonight too

Most recent toots weren't automated, but trying to get those hooked up to Phabricator tonight.

Hmm, might be able to build a Tumblr importer pretty easily, especially since auth is already implemented for cross-posting 🤔

Going along with this, by v1.0 we'll have built-in support for getting certificates from Let's Encrypt.

You won't need a reverse proxy in front of in v0.4 -- now it can handle secure traffic on its own.

Another idea it made me think of: what if instead of comments right now, mentions just forwarded to a connected Mastodon / Pleroma / whatever account? Not sure how that'd technically work, but might have to look into it.
