Otherwise the https://WriteFreely.host launch was a success yesterday! Got the infrastructure squared away and the first few instances set up.

That process is *mostly* automated right now, but WF needs a few changes to make that process easier -- including automated user creation (https://phabricator.write.as/T544).Working on that tonight too

Another idea it made me think of: what if instead of comments right now, mentions just forwarded to a connected Mastodon / Pleroma / whatever account? Not sure how that'd technically work, but might have to look into it.

Recent @matt blog post getting sent around the fediverse reminded me this is pretty critical for #WriteFreely v1.0: blog data caching.
